Our Story

1999

Dr. Hilleren Graduates Dental School from U of M. Moves to Ortonville MN. Purchases Dr. Peter Hanson’s practice and works along side him.

2001

Dr. Hilleren purchases Benson Family Dental care after Dr. Joel Hoim tragically passes.

2015

Benson Family Dental Care became Bluestem Dental, and moved into new location.

2019

Bluestem Lakeside was started in Ortonville MN with the purchase of Dr. Steven Winther’s practice.

2021

Dr. Winther retires from Dentistry after 40 years of servicing the Ortonville community.

2000

Dr. Peter Hanson retires from dentistry after serving the Ortonville community for 48 years.

2013

Dr. Hilleren purchases Erickson Dental Care from Dr. Dean Erickson as he retires from Dentistry. He served the Benson community for 40 years.

2019

Dr. Noah Zehringer joins Bluestem Dental in Benson MN

2020

Dr. Corinne Dohman graduates from Dental School and joins us at Bluestem Lakeside in Ortonville.

2025

Dr. Zack Deal joins Bluestem Dental in Benson MN after graduation from U of M.
